Riley Wassel

Riley Wassel serves as Director of Talent Recruitment and Development at Tammen Hospitality Partners, where she is responsible for talent strategy, recruitment, and development across the organization.

In this role, Riley partners with THP's leadership team and employees throughout the firm to strengthen recruitment processes, develop talent, and build the people infrastructure required to support the company's growth. Her scope encompasses hospitality talent acquisition, employee development, recruiting strategy, employer brand, and the design of scalable people processes and systems as THP continues to expand.

Riley brings seven years of recruiting experience, including five years focused specifically on sales and marketing recruitment within the hospitality industry. Her background spans both corporate and hospitality environments, providing her with a comprehensive understanding of the business and human capital dimensions of talent acquisition. She has developed and managed recruiting strategies supporting both international and domestic hiring, and has partnered directly with senior leadership and C-suite executives to fill critical, hard-to-source positions.

Riley's approach is defined by the integration of relationship-driven recruiting with a disciplined understanding of organizational strategy. Rather than focusing narrowly on filling open roles, she invests in understanding an organization's culture and objectives, then applies that insight to how talent is attracted, evaluated, and developed for long-term fit and impact. She is regarded as a trusted resource for identifying strong talent, building lasting professional relationships, navigating complex hiring decisions, and bringing structure and rigor to the recruiting function.

Riley holds a Bachelor of Science in Business and Sports Management from the University of Kansas.

Riley was raised in Arlington, Texas, and currently resides in Phoenix, Arizona.
