Joshua Tammen is the Founder and Managing Principal of Tammen Hospitality Partners, where he leads the firm’s strategic vision and oversees the execution of hospitality investment transactions across the United States. He advises hotel owners, investors, family offices, developers, and institutional clients on maximizing the value of their assets through disciplined transaction execution, comprehensive financial analysis, and market-driven investment strategy.

With a career dedicated exclusively to hospitality commercial real estate, Joshua has built a reputation for combining institutional-quality underwriting with a highly personalized advisory approach. His expertise spans hotel valuation, financial analysis, investment strategy, market positioning, negotiation, and transaction management across a wide range of asset types, including select-service, extended-stay, boutique, full-service, and resort properties.

A defining element of Joshua’s perspective is his experience as both an advisor and a hotel owner. Having invested in hospitality real estate himself, he understands the operational, financial, and strategic challenges owners face beyond the transaction—from performance optimization and capital planning to long-term wealth creation. This firsthand experience allows him to provide practical, experience-driven guidance that extends well beyond facilitating a sale.

Joshua founded Tammen Hospitality Partners with a clear vision: to build a premier hospitality brokerage platform centered on exceptional client service, sophisticated financial analysis, and long-term advisory relationships. His approach emphasizes helping clients make informed, strategic decisions that strengthen portfolio performance and support generational wealth creation, rather than focusing solely on closing transactions.

Known for his analytical rigor and attention to detail, Joshua has developed proprietary underwriting methodologies and financial evaluation processes that provide clients with clear, data-driven insights into investment opportunities. Prior to founding Tammen Hospitality Partners, Joshua was with Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Services from 2015 to 2025, where he earned multiple national recognitions, including Rookie of the Year in 2016, National Achievement Awards from 2018 through 2025, and Circle of Excellence honors in 2024 and 2025.

Joshua earned his Bachelor of Business and Economics from the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University.
